1-Day Kayaking Tour on the Nam Tha River
The highlight of the program is adventure kayaking on the Nam Tha River (Nam Ha River only in the rainy season) and visiting the ethnic village on the riverbank. There are many rapid along the river which bring you to twist your body with water waves.
Morning
Depart at 9:00 AM to the local morning market to buy food and water. Then ride a Tuk Tuk to the kayaking route at Sopseem Village where release kayak. Before paddling, the tour guide will recommend to you what to do and how to save yourself on the river. During your river trip, you will meet the ethnic people who live at the river bank and the beautiful mountainous along the river. You have opportunities to see the colorful birds fly crossing the river while you are paddling. We will take 3 hours to get to the lunch site. This is a good time for you and your guide to cook together and have a wonderful picnic with a tasty barbecue while listening to the water flow and the songs of birds.
Afternoon
After finishing lunch, continuously kayak to the Houy Luead village which is the final stop of the end program. During this route, we will have time to visit a Khmu village for 30 minutes. Then ongoing paddling on the river. From this, there are many rapid which is very interesting to challenge yourself with water waves and the curve of water route. When arrive at Houy Luead village, the Tuk Tuk is there to pick us up to the town.
